The Church in Africa is essentially rural
IRCA Africa is developing a network, with significant input on site and on line at the IRCA 2026 conference in Romania, as well as many who wanted to come but were unable to.
Face to face or online IRCA Africa can link people who are ministering, working or living in rural Africa and enabling the sharing of stories of hope and challenge, as well as experiences and resources.
The network of IRCA Africa is guided by three people who are part of the Leadership Group of IRCA.

Rev Dr Mercy Kokuro Braimah is the deputy founder and general overseer of Most High International Ministry, Jachie, in the Bosomtwe district under the Ashanti region of Ghana. As the Associate pastor, she also serves as the Women Fellowship Leader and the pastor for the Children’s ministry. Mercy is the Principal and Chaplaincy Board Chairperson of the College of Nursing and Midwifery in Kwapong, a rural community surrounded by cocoa farms, rich green landscapes, and people whose faith anchors their daily lives.
As the Chairperson of the Chaplaincy Board of the College, she supports students and staff through pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and devotional leadership. Her ultimate vision is to see nursing students across Ghana united as a community of compassionate Christian professionals, thus, students who learn together, pray together, serve together, and grow together in Christ. Through these partnerships, she wishes not to only prepare nurses for clinical excellence; but raise leaders who will bring hope, healing, and transformation to the rural communities.
Ratovohery Jean is a Pastor of an independent and evangelical church called Centre Alpha located in Antananarivo, capital of Madagascar. The vision of our church is to reach as many as possible Malagasy people in different parts of Madagascar especially the coastal areas with its rural areas where poverty reigns but, worse, most of the people there still keep the custom related to idol worship.
Eric Adjei Amankwah, Ghana, West Arica, is at Calvary Hill Assembly of God, Asokore Manpong Kumasi. A rural church planter, he has worked in rural for the twenty years, holding regional positions of responsibility, in a region with around 300 churches. Eric has been married to Rev Margaret Adjei Fosua for 26 years and God has blessed them with two children, Eric Adjei Amankwah junior and Nhyiraba Serwah Akoto Adjei Amankwah, and two adopted children, Angel Adjei Amankwah Asiamah Eric Kofi Adjei Amankwah. Margaret has regional roles for children’s and women’s ministries
